James Brown is an American musician who helped to develop the styles of Soul and Funk music that would become so popular in modern forms of pop music. He developed his career over many years and worked hard to develop the progression of modern music as a whole.
During his lifetime the musician had a wealth of musical hits and charted on the billboards mainstream hot 100 over 90 times in the US. He was extremely hard-working and created hundreds of songs through out his life.
The musician died in 2006 in a hospital near his home in Atlanta. He was diagnosed with Pneumonia after a dentist noticed that something was wrong when the artist went for a general check-up. His health became worse and he eventually passed away on christmas day.
A tribute show has been organised for the singer and is to be held at the famous Jazz, Funk and Blues club, BB Kings Blues Club in New York. The show is set to recreate the energy and high level of musical activity that was always so popular with the live performances.
