There have been a lot of unlikely celebrity friendships over the years and it seems that there is a new friendship that is taking place in the music industry. Music star Adam Lambert has admitted that he and Robbie Williams hit it off when they met in Australia, and Adam has admitted that he would love to hang out with Robbie when he heads over to Los Angeles.
Lambert explained, "It was great because I heard things about Robbie for years and he was in Australia and we finally got to meet and we really hit it off and I think we are going to hang out when he’s in L.A. I want to meet his baby."
As well as talking about wanting to hang out with Robbie Williams and meet his family, Adam Lambert also gave some advice to X Factor runner-up Saara Aalto, who he performed with on the live final. Adam insisted that getting to the final is a victory in itself, and he should know after narrowly missing out on winning the 2009 series of American Idol.
Lambert added, "When you make it to the final you’ve kind of won anyway. I was the runner-up when I was on Idol. You get to the end of a show like that you’ve sung every week so you’ve shown the country what you are capable of. There’s no losing."
With Robbie Williams and Adam Lambert looking like becoming new best friends, it would not be a surprise if we saw the two of them collaborating on some new music together in the near future.
