Anna Chlumsky is one talented young actress of motion picture, television, and stage in the United States. She first rose to major prominence in the acting world, when she appeard in the role of Vada Sultenfuss, and it was in the movie called My Girl. She reprised the very same role in a sequel to the first film, and this film was titled My Girl 2. This is the role that helped to make her very famous, and it is still a movie part, with which she still is strongly identified with today. So, Forever Vada, is pretty much true.
Chlumsky did decide to abandon her acting career, as well as, the world of acting for a couple of years to study at the University of Chicago for other work. However, after some time away from the acting field, she did return to it in her late twenties. This is because no other type of work brought her the immense happiness that acting did. So, with this said, upon her return back she did take roles in some independent films. Some of these indepedent film roles were in movies called Blood Car and In The Loop.
Anna Chlumsky did get into show business at a very young age, and she did do some modeling with her mother in an advertising campaign, but nothing brought her more fame than her parts in My Girl and My Girl 2. She truly personified the role of Vada with her youthful beauty and awesome personality.
Anna Chlumsky got a starring role in the HBO series called Veep in 2012. She also got nominated for this role in 2013 with a Primetime Emmy Award. This award was for Best Supporting Actress in a role for a Comedy Series. Anna can do all sorts of acting parts, but she will always be known as Vada, which does make her Forever Vada!
