When it comes to the filmmaker M Night Shyamalan, it is fair to say that he has been very hit and miss over the years, giving us some absolutely brilliant movies early in his career, before then losing the way and bringing us a string of terrible films. However, Shyamalan returned to form with the very impressive 2016 movie Split and we were all very surprised, and also a little bit excited, to learn that Split was part of a shared universe with the hit 2000 movie Unbreakable.
Following the success of Split, which did well at the box office and was also a hit with the fans and critics, we were delighted to learn that M Night Shyamalan had plans to bring it together with Unbreakable for a new movie titled Glass, which would see the Unbreakable stars Bruce Willis and Samuel L Jackson sharing the big screen with Split stars James McAvoy and Ana Taylor Joy.
Production for Glass got underway earlier this year and M Night Shyamalan has been kind enough to keep everyone up to date on how things are going with the new movie. Now, the movie maker has confirmed that shooting for Glass has now been completed. Shyamalan took to his official Twitter account to share the news with his fans and followers.
He posted, "Just wrapped #Glass!! Much love to my cast & crew. Thank you for helping me tell this special story. And love to Philly for all the support!"
Glass is set to hit the big screen on January 18, 2019 in both the US and the UK.
