There are very few really special days in the year but when it comes to your birthday, it is a day where people can focus on you and you alone and you get to share the special day with your loved ones, who shower you with love and affection. However, that is not always the case, as there are plenty of people around the world who do not actually get a birthday of their own, as they have to share it with someone else.
That is exactly the case for Hollywood couple Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, with the married couple having to share their birthday as it falls on the same day. Michael has now been talking about sharing his birthday with his wife, and the actor has admitted that, while they loved the thought of it at the start of their relationship, Catherine has now become annoyed by it and wants a day all to herself.
Douglas was chatting to Extra, when he told them, "Catherine and I, when we got together, the first night I met her I found out we had the same birthday and that was like, 'Oh man, this is the killer, this seals the deal.' We thought it was so great. [But now] she has had it up to here with having the same birthday, she wants her own day now, she's tired of having to share. [Do I give her her own day?] I'll give her anything she wants. I'm crazy about her, but I'm a few years older than her so I'm happy letting it pass."
Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas got married back in 2000 and the couple have so far managed to beat the curse of the Hollywood couples by staying together all this time. The couple have since gone on to have two children together, 17-year-old Dylan and 14-year-old Carys, with the couple clearly still very much in love.
