Since it was suggested that Daniel Craig would not be making a return as James Bond, following the last movie Spectre, there has been a huge amount of names being linked to the possibility of replacing the actor, even though it has not been officially confirmed that Daniel will not be returning. While some of the names that have been mentioned do seem like genuinely viable candidates, there have been some mentioned who we do not think would ever make a good James Bond.
One of the names that seems to keep popping up time and again is the very talented and impressive British actor Charlie Hunnam, who would certainly make an interesting James Bond. Now, Charlie has been talking about the fact that his name has been thrown into the mix and, while it seems that he would definitely be up for playing the role, it seems that it is not likely that this is going to happen any time soon.
Hunnam revealed, "I can say two things. I'm English and I look devilishly handsome in a suit," before then going on to add, "I can say three things ... and nobody has called me about playing James Bond, so I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen."
Well it looks like we are not going to get Charlie Hunnam taking over from Daniel Craig as James Bond and, until Daniel Craig has made an official announcement about his future as 007, we are going to continue to assume that he just might come back. With that said, we love hearing all of the different replacement rumours, so if you have any that you want to share with us, just let us know and we will be sure to throw the name into the ring.
