Australia is always a great place to visit and every year we see a whole host of stars from all over the world, heading to Australia, either on tour or promoting something. There are currently quite a few stars in Australia at the moment, including Hollywood movie star Dolph Lundgren, who actually once lived there when he was younger.
Dolph Lundgren has opened up about his time living in Australia, where he was a student, while also working part-time as a doorman, in a bid to make some extra money. Dolph says that he actually got into a few scrapes while working as a bouncer, but admits that the police were kind enough to help him out.
Lundgren explained, "There were a few incidents and I remember the cops, the police, were very nice to me. There were so many incidents there and I was certainly not aggressive, but something happened once or twice and they were very nice with me and got me off. I worked at a couple of places, one was in a club which was in a building which has been demolished."
He added, "It was to get extra cash, I was on a scholarship but that brought some money in. You know I didn’t have any extra money so I just did that on the side, on a Saturday and sometimes during the week, which was tough because I had to get up early [for lectures]."
Since those days of being a student and a bouncer, Dolph Lundgren has gone on to become a Hollywood movie star, appearing in some fantastic films over the years. Dolph Lundgren can currently be seen on the big screen, starring in the movie The Expendables 3, which is out now in both the US and the UK.
