British superstar Ed Sheeran has become one of the biggest singer and songwriters in the music business right now, working with a whole host of different stars over the past few years, with plenty more people in the music industry wanting to work with him. It has been a very big rise for Ed and he has made a lot of friends within the music industry along the way, including One Direction hunk Harry Styles.
Through his friendship with Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran has worked with the One Direction boys in the past, writing the song All These Little Things for the British boyband. Now it seems that Ed could be working with One Direction once again, with some new music that he has prepared for the boys.
Sheeran told We Love Pop Magazine, "I'm seeing [their record label boss] Simon Cowell soon. I'm going to his house and playing him some songs. I like that they've moved into a more acoustic zone and I have an idea that I think would work for them, so we'll see."
Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran has admitted that he was recording his single Sing in the studio with record producer Pharrell Williams, when he tried to impress Pharrell with his high notes. Ed says that he is now regretting the move a little, as he has to hit those notes every time he sings it.
Sheeran added, "I was trying to show off in the studio in front of Pharrell. He gets amazing singers all the time, so I was like, 'I'm going to show him I can do this.' But now I have to play it live every day."
Following the success of All These Little Things, we look forward to seeing what Ed Sheeran has in store for One Direction this time.
