There was a time when it looked as though Fall Out Boy had split up for good but, fortunately for the fans of the band, they came back together and have worked on some new music. Fall Out Boy released their new album Save Rock and Roll last month, which featured a collaboration with Elton John, and the band have spoken about working with him.
Frontman Patrick Stump told Kerrang Magazine, "The piano is actually my demo. I was sure we'd redo it, but Elton was listening to it and he was like, 'Ooh, who plays piano?' and I sheepishly raised my hand."
He added, "He was like, 'Wow, you should play it more!' It was so crazy to have him on it. He got the song, he got the record, and he was really important in encouraging us on the album title and everything we were trying to do.
Fall Out Boy's new album Save Rock and Roll is their fifth studio album and, after the release of the record last month, managed to climb as high as number two in the UK album chart, while it also topped the US Billboard 200 chart.
