Yesterday we brought you the first round of our search for who should play Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie. We pitted former Gilmore Girls star Alexis Bledel against Twilight’s Kristen Stewart, with Alexis coming out on top. Now we are looking at two more potential Ana’s, with Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke going up against Cemetery Junction’s Felicity Jones.

While Alexis Bledel does seem to be a huge fan favourite for the role of Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades of Grey film, there are those who think that she does not have the youthfulness of Emilia Clarke. Emilia certainly has the potential to pull off the look of Ana and, she has proven with her Game of Thrones role, that she is not afraid to show a bit of flesh. This makes Emilia Clarke a serious rival to Alexis Bledel for Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey.

It is fair to say that Felicity Jones is an outsider to play Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie but she has been developing a small gathering, which is growing all of the time. Add the fact that Felicity has publicly expressed an interest in playing the role of Ana and she could find herself becoming a serious Fifty Shades of Grey casting candidate.
Without being too harsh on Felicity Jones, she is still not yet a big enough star to have the fan drawing power, for the role of Anastasia Steele. Meanwhile, Emilia Clarke has been proving hugely popular in the race to play Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie and she will be there or there abouts come the final decision.
