Singer Gary Barlow continues his run as the head judge on the UK version of The X Factor, when the show returns this weekend. Each week on the live shows, the contestants have to perform songs dedicated to certain things and people and Gary insists that he wants a Take That week on the show.
When asked whether he would be up for having a Take That week on The X Factor, Barlow said, "Absolutely. I've been fighting for this for years. Come on producers," before then joking, "Let's get some decent music on there."
Meanwhile, Simon Cowell is eagerly anticipating the new season, saying, "Great panel, great talent. It's just so easy after ten years to get lazy and make the same show again, but the enthusiasm and the energy and the judging panel are fantastic. And the hosts, Dermot, Caroline [and] the new arrival Matt."
Gary Barlow is joined on The X Factor judging panel by last seasons judges Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger, while former judge Sharon Osbourne has returned to the show. The new season of The X Factor will return to ITV this Saturday night.
