When an actor or an actress works on a popular and successful television series, they usually have to make sure that they put the show first and make it the priority for their acting career, having to work any other projects around the filming schedule for that. However, once shooting for this television series has come to an end and the cast and crew are taking their hiatus in between seasons, it gives them the chance to work on something new.
That is exactly what actor Grant Gustin is looking to do in the very near future, when he has finished shooting the latest season of the hit The CW superhero series The Flash. Rather than using his hiatus to take a break from acting for a short while, Grant is already lined up to start shooting the planned new movie The Last Full Measure, which is a new war film that we are very excited about seeing hit the big screen.
We have no doubt that there are a fair few of you who are dying to know more about The Last Full Measure, which has been described as, "34-years after his death, Airman William H. Pitsenbarger, Jr. ("Pits") is awarded the nations highest military honor for his actions on the battlefield. One of the great untold stories of the Vietnam era."
As well as having The Flash actor Grant Gustin lined up to appear in the movie, the other cast members expected to appear in The Last Full Measure include some exciting talents including Alison Sudol, Samuel L. Jackson, and Sebastian Stan, among other impressive names. Meanwhile, Todd Robinson is set to direct The Last Full Measure, from the screenplay that he developed himself, with work expected to begin later this year.
