Multi-talented actress Greta Gerwig was announced as one of the stars of the new series 'How I Met Your Dad', a spin off to the uber successful 'How I Met Your Mother' television series and her recent interviews indicate that she is a big fan of the 'How I Met Your Mother' television series and intends to bring the same level of laughs and friendships that were seen on the original show.
Greta Gerwig is known for being both a talented actress and writer as she has starred and co-wrote the critically acclaimed movie 'Frances Ha' with Noah Baumbach. In the new television series 'How I Met Your Dad' she will be playing Sally, a free-spirited woman who is not truly grown up but when she is introduced in the pilot episode of the series she is married and thus faced with adult responsibilities.
In this series Greta Gerwig will be acting, writing and executive producing with the co-creators of 'How I Met Your Mother', Carter Bays and Craig Thomas. For the pilot show she was one of the main writers and if the show is picked up she will be heavily involved in the writing and production of the show.
