So we are now well into the new era of Star Wars movies, with Disney taking control and bringing us, not only further instalments of the original Star Wars movies but also by bringing us some new spinoff projects too. Following the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, fans were eager to see what the next instalment would bring us with these new characters alongside out favourite originals.
Well, Star Wars: The Last Jedi has been out for a few days now and we are seeing more and more reviews popping up online on a regular basis, which can often give you a good idea about what to expect from the new film. Without giving away any spoilers and hopefully without ruining anything at all for you, it does sound like Star Wars: The Last Jedi could be the worst Star Wars movie ever.
We are all pretty much in agreement that the Star Wars prequel trilogy gave us some of the worst Star Wars moments in the history of the franchise but, when you take a read of some of the reviews of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, or if you just talk to some people who have been to see it, it really does sound like the new film is terrible and that they should maybe call time on these films once the new trilogy is complete.
With that said, there is no denying that Star Wars: The Last Jedi is going to make a huge amount of money and that every Star Wars movie is going to make a lot at the box office, so the chances of Disney deciding to bring the Star Wars Universe to an end is extremely unlikely. Some fans are hopeful that Star Wars: Episode XI can save the franchise but it is looking very unlikely at this stage.
Is Star Wars: The Last Jedi the worst Star Wars movie ever? No, but it is far from being anywhere near the best either.
