Back in June of this year, there was talk about who would be cast in the role of President Coin for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, with a number of actresses being linked to the role. One name that cropped up at the time, was Julianne Moore and it seems that she has been successful.

Julianne Moore will play President Coin
It has been reported that Julianne Moore has been cast in the role, joining up with the likes of Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth. President Coin is the President of District 13 and features quite heavily in the Suzanne Collins novels, as she comes to blows with Katniss Everdeen and the Panem uprising.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay will be split into two parts and will see The Hunger Games: Catching Fire director Francis Lawrence return to direct both. Meanwhile, Natalie Dormer will also join the cast as Cressida, with Stef Dawson playing Annie.

Jennifer Lawrence is the star of the movies
Before we get to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay though, we still have The Hunger Games: Catching Fire to come, which will hit the big screen on November 21 in the UK, before then hitting the US a day later, on November 22.
