Lauren Bush-Lauren will receive the prestigious World of Children Advocacy Award honoring her as founder and CEO of FEED, an organization with the mission to create good products that help FEED the world. Lauren has designed bags, apparel and accessories for the organization she co-founded in 2006. Funds raised through FEED are channeled into the United Nations World Food Program for children around the world.
Lauren recently graced the cover of Town and Country magazine with French heiress Claire Courtins-Clarins in a joint effort to promote the FEED program. The two beauties are seen on the cover and in the pages of the magazine wearing Ralph Lauren, St. Laurent and Louis Vuitton designs.
A Princeton graduate, Lauren married David Lauren in 2011, merging the Bush political family and the Lauren design family. Modeling since high school, she has been featured on the covers of W, Vogue, Vanity Fair, and Glamour. She modeled for Tommy Hilfiger, Abercrombie & Fitch, Isaac Mizrahi and Dooney & Bourke. She was the face of designer Lily Pulitzer.
As a designer, Lauren created the FEED bag prototype in 2005, expanding into numerous products in that line. In 2013, FEED and retailer Target collaborated to create and carry the FEED USA + Target line with 10% of the purchase price of each item going to Feeding America. Lauren Bush Lauren’s heart for feeding children is impacting malnutrition and hunger around the world.
