Hollywood superstar Samuel L Jackson has become a bit of a legend during his career and rightly so, giving us some fantastic performances in some brilliant movies over the years, with that said though, Sam has also given us some seriously poor projects, which is to be expected when you consider how many movies he has been involved in during his long acting career.
Samuel L Jackson was recently honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BET Awards, which led to some people to suggest that the actor might now consider going into some sort of semi-retirement. Well, Sam has now opened up about the possibility of slowing things down a bit, claiming that he still has quite a few more movies to go yet, before he hits his target.
Jackson explained, "It's kind of funny because it happens and you go, 'So am I supposed to slow down or stop working now?' So I'm not sure. Actually, somebody told me, 'Well, you're up to 165 (movies)', so I've got to do at least 35 more movies to get to 200. I'm out more than I'm at home."
Samuel L Jackson has a number of big movies coming our way in the near future, reprising his role as Augustus Eugene Gibbons in the new movie xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, which opens on January 20, 2017 in both the US and the UK, as well as having a role in the new film Kong: Skull Island, which is released on March 10, 2017 in both the US and the UK.
