While most British music acts head to the US and try to let their music do all the work, British girl group The Saturdays decided to take a different approach. The Saturdays decided that they could get more publicity from starring in their very own reality television series and stuck a deal with E!.
The series Chasing The Saturdays has just finished its first season on E! but it is now claimed that E! have decided not to run the show for a second season. The Sun recently reported that, due to the poor ratings of Chasing The Saturdays, E! had decided to cancel the show.
However, it seems that The Sun were not quite correct with their story, as a spokesperson for The Saturdays says that this is not the case, "Chasing The Saturdays was originally only commissioned for one season. The show has since been picked up by 46 territories around the world. The head of E! is coming into the UK next week to discuss a Christmas special."
Meanwhile, The Saturdays are preparing to release their latest single Gentleman, which comes out on June 30 and is the third single to come from their upcoming album.
