British girlband The Saturdays are trying to follow in the footsteps of many other British acts, by making it big in the US. The Saturdays have tried to get themselves more attention, by starring in their very own US reality television series Chasing The Saturdays, which airs on E!.
While the show has been receiving plenty of positive feedback from the fans of The Saturdays, Chasing The Saturdays has not been getting the ratings which the executives at E! were expecting. An insider told the Daily Star, "The execs like the series, but viewing figures haven’t been as amazing as predicted."
Now the executives have called for The Saturdays to take drastic measures and put some more drama into the show, to make it more exciting for the viewers. It has been said that they have asked Rochelle Humes to debut her unborn child on the show, as well as trying to get Frankie Sandford to convince her boyfriend Wayne Bridge to appear in the show.
While The Saturdays may have hit a little bit of a rough patch in the US, they are having a much better time of things in the UK. The Saturdays have just achieved their first ever number one single in the UK, with the track What About Us, which features Sean Paul and has been the fastest selling single of 2013 so far.
