When it comes to a celebrity wedding, there is usually a huge build up to the occasion, with the big day being something very spectacular, full of celebrity guests, before the photos of the wedding are sold for lots of money. However, actress Ashley Tisdale decided to do things different, when she and Christopher French decided to marry in secret.
Ashley Tisdale is married
Tisdale was a guest on Ryan Seacrest's radio show, when she told him, "It felt like I was married before or something--I guess because we act that way. It definitely feels amazing. It feels different but doesn't. It's like I married my best friend. It's the best feeling in the world. This relationship was definitely different from any other relationship I ever had...Nothing is forced. It's the best feeling ever."
There were a lot of surprised people all over the world, when it was announced that Ashley Tisdale and Christopher French had got married, as nobody really saw it coming. Ashley also went on to talk about the reasons behind the date they chose to tie the knot, insisting that it was all part of their plan to keep it quiet.
Ashley Tisdale is loving life
Tisdale added, "It definitely was for two reasons. The 8th was our anniversary so I wanted to land on an 8th, and thankfully it landed on a Monday in September. Also, I figured it was a good idea, because I figured out like, 'Oh, I don't think anybody would figure this one out,' and that was to protect the privacy of it."
As for her career, Ashley Tisdale will next appear on the big screen in the movie Playing It Cool, which co-stars Chris Evans, Michelle Monaghan, Aubrey Plaza, Ioan Gruffudd, and Anthony Mackie, with the movie set to open some time in the near future. Check out the Playing It Cool trailer below.
