There are some absolutely amazing directors in Hollywood these days, some who seem to be able to turn everything they touch to gold, with others who seem very much hit and miss, although with more positive movies than negative. Then there is M. Night Shyamalan, who was once the up and coming director to watch but has since gone on to have many years of awful films, making him less than exciting when it comes to his new projects.
However, just last year, M. Night Shyamalan brought us the very impressive movie Split, which seemed like a strong standalone movie itself, before it was revealed that it was actually a sequel to the 2000 movie Unbreakable, which starred Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson. Split was so impressive that it has brought M. Night Shyamalan back to his best and has people excited about seeing his new movies once again.
While there would now be some excitement surrounding any new project M. Night Shyamalan would work on next, there is even more excitement at the fact that he is bringing us the new movie Glass, which will be the final instalment of this very interesting trilogy. Glass will see Unbreakable and Split coming together, with Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson being joined by Split star James McAvoy.
As well as those three main stars, Glass will also feature Spencer Treat Clark and Charlayne Woodward, from Unbreakable, as well as Anya Taylor-Joy from Split. Glass has now started production but we have a long wait for the new movie, which is not due to hit the big screen until January 18, 2019 in both the US and the UK.
