It is hard to believe that it has been almost eight years since we first got to cast our eyes on the hit movie High School Musical, while it has been almost six years since we had to say goodbye to our favourite high school students. Since then, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have gone on to become huge Hollywood stars, while the rest of the cast have not done too badly either.
Ashley Tisdale played Sharpay in High School Musical
Actress Ashley Tisdale, who played the role of Sharpay in the High School Musical movies, has enjoyed relative success since the franchise came to an end and has been doing more than just acting. Ashley helped produce the Disney Channel Original snowboarding movie Cloud 9 and she clearly had a positive impact on the cast of the film.
Actress Dove Cameron stars in Cloud 9 and she has spoken words of praise about Ashley Tisdale for the support that she gave everyone on set. During a recent interview to help promote the movie, Cameron explained, "She's an absolute doll. She was a great boss. She was kind of the soundtracks to our childhoods, so it was really cool to work with her."

As well as starring Dove Cameron, the Cloud 9 cast also stars the likes of Luke Benward, Dove Cameron, Jeffrey Nordling, Patrick Fabian and Mike C. Manning. Cloud 9 was directed by Paul Hoen and premiered on the Disney Channel on January 17.
