There has been a long, ongoing battle about the gender pay gap in Hollywood, as the women in the industry have been getting paid far less than men for many years now and things really do need to change. As well as that, it is nice to see that we are starting to get some impressive and strong female characters beginning to make their way to the big screen, although we do not want to completely forget about the past legacy of certain female characters.
There are some people in the world who have been campaigning for the James Bond movies to get rid of the Bond Girls, as they feel it is sexualising the woman involved but this does not necessarily have to be the case. A Bond Girl can be a very strong character indeed, just because she is sexy and uses her charms to get close to 007, does not mean that she is not a strong woman, so we are all for more Bond Girls in the future.
With Daniel Craig expected to make one last appearance as James Bond, there has been a fair amount of talk about which actress should be cast in the role of the Bond Girl for the next 007 film. Well, we have seen plenty of models making their way to the acting industry over the years, with some even bagging themselves a role in a James Bond movie as a Bond Girl, and we think we might just have found the next one.
Hunter McGrady has been enjoying a steady rise in the modelling industry and has been showing women that it is perfectly fine to be curvy and be proud of your body, as she is one of the hottest plus-size models in the world. Hunter has become a huge inspiration to millions of women around the world with her modelling work and we think she could do the same as a Bond Girl.
With that said, it seems that McGrady herself could actually be open to the idea, as she recently posted a picture of herself on her official Instagram account, from her latest modelling shoot, with the caption which read, "GOLDFINGER for Vogue Italia. Part of the Metamorphosis collection- A collaboration between @loisycohen and @indianaromavoss 007 anyone? 💋 @vogueitalia."
We think Hunter McGrady would make an incredible Bond Girl and we would love to see it happen, if not in the next James Bond movie, then in one of the future instalments.
