British actress Maisie Williams has become one of the most recognisable faces in Hollywood today, thanks to her role as Arya Stark in the hugely successful HBO series Game of Thrones. With Game of Thrones approaching its end, Maisie is looking to take her career in new directions, including her recent role voicing a character in the animated movie Early Man. While the actress is someone who likes to push her limits, she has admitted that she struggled to get used to lending her voice to an animated character.

Williams was speaking to the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper, when she told them, "Originally I honestly felt very disconnected from the movie. I created this voice and created this idea of the character, and it got easier the more I went along, the more they could show me of what they'd already done. But it was just completely stabbing in the dark."
While Maisie Williams admits that she did find it a bit of a struggle to get used to voicing a character in an animated movie, she did also admit that she enjoys challenging herself and taking on projects she has never tried before. Maisie says that starring in Game of Thrones has opened up a lot of doors for her and she wants to do as many different things as possible, while she is still at the height of her career.

Williams added, "I've been given such a great opportunity so early on in my career and I have such a big platform now. I have the opportunity to do whatever I want, I think I owe it to myself to be as ambitious as possible."
Well we thought Maisie Williams did a great job on Early Man and is definitely welcome to voice an animated character again in the future.
